Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale is amongst a long list of stars interested in the role of Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Lucy has revealed that she would be interested in a role in the raunchy novel turned movie, Fifty Shades of Grey.
Lucy, who plays Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars, has told MTV News that she's keen to "do something a little more risky" when it comes to her acting career.
When asked if she would want to play lead character Anastasia Steele in the much talked about movie, Lucy said: "I definitely am ready to take a step and do something a bit more risky... but it's a fine line. I don't know what that fine line is, but I'm definitely ready to explore a darker side of my acting abilities."
The 23-year old also went on to add that she's a fan of the books - written by E.L. James - saying: "I'm on Fifty Shades Darker. I get flustered even talking about it, so yeah, I'm on that train."
Lucy went on to say: "People have said that [I could play the lead role] but people have also said [I could play] the little sister, which I think could make sense, because I look a little young for Ana. I'm really curious to see how it's all going to [play out]. But God, what a big role to take on."
Other actresses that have been linked to the role include Kristen Stewart and Emma Roberts. And as for who will play the domineering, beautiful but troubled Christian Grey, Star Trek actor Chris Pine has revealed that he would consider the role. Ian Somerhalder has gone one step further, even running a campaign to get him the part. And it appears all the campaigning hasn't been in vain as Ian was the choice of fans of Fifty Shades of Grey for the role.
He came away with 27% of the votes while Superman's Henry Cavill came in second with 15% and A-list Ryan Gosling came in third with 13%.
