Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara has revealed how she is proud of her beautiful looks and cannot understand why people do not embrace their beauty more. Sofia admitted that she has never really had to prove her intelligence, as doors opened for her because of her looks.
Vergara explained to Glamour magazine, “I don't feel the need to apologise for my looks - I always took advantage of them and the doors they opened for me. Likewise, I never felt I had to prove my intelligence or how business-minded I am.” However, she was under no illusions that he looks would last forever and vows to play to her other strengths.
She added, “Look, I'm 40 years old and have been in the entertainment world for 23 years. I know there's always someone younger and prettier on the horizon, so if you don't have anything to fall back on, you're long gone.” Sofia certainly has her sense of humour to fall back on.
Sofia Vergara can next be seen on the big screen starring alongside an all star cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba and Danny Trejo in the movie Machete Kills, which is set to be released next year.
