There has been talk of a Justice League movie happening for many years now and it almost came very close to becoming a reality a few years back. Now, it has been confirmed that the Justice League movie is definitely going to be made this time, with high expectations.
The Justice League movie is currently being worked on by Will Beall, who was responsible for Gangster Squad, and it appears that things are continuing to progress. While there is currently no cast attached to the Justice League movie and no director in place, plans for shooting and release have been announced.
It appears that the search for a director is on and the cast will then follow, before shooting begins in 2013 with a release date set for 2015. That means that the Justice League movie will be released in the same year as The Avengers 2, which will give us a great idea of who is more popular between DC and Marvel.
The main issue that people currently have with the Justice League movie is the fact that they have not really introduced any of the characters in standalone movies. It is expected that Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman but there will be a new Batman and new Green Lantern, as well as new characters such as The Flash and Wonder Woman.
